Prevention and early detection of Lymphoedema

Monitoring/ surveillance is key to better long-term outcomes. At Lynart Lymph and Physio you will be advised of risk factors, and risk-reduction practices to reduce the incidence of cancer-related lymphoedema. Monitoring is achieved by taking an L-Dex reading using Sozo bioimpedience spectroscopy (BIS) technology to monitor changes in your tissue fluid. This allows early detection of lymphoedema before we can see or feel any changes ourselves.

Starting treatment early improves outcomes immensely for the one in five breast cancer patients who do develop lymphoedema.

You will receive a personalised treatment plan relevant to your goals, including help to manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life.
